CONTEXT: The NAPA PROLink Estimator is a tool integrated into the NAPA PROLink platform, specifically designed to help automotive repair shops quickly and accurately estimate the cost of repairs and services. It helps shop owners, technicians, and service advisors generate precise labor and parts estimates for customers.

RESEARCH: Research began with a series of competitive analyses to identify industry standards. This was followed by surveys which were used to inform the structure of the user interviews which was the next technique implemented.

PROBLEM STATEMENT: The NAPA PROLink users have indicated that there is a need for a way to better serve their customers in terms of work order breakdowns.

MY ROLE: Led the end-to-end UX design of an automotive estimator tool, conducting user research to identify workflow inefficiencies and pain points. Created user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that streamlined complex estimate creation. Collaborated cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams to deliver an intuitive, efficient solution that improved user satisfaction and reduced time-to-quote.
