CONTEXT: NAPAonline.com is the official website of NAPA Auto Parts, offering a wide selection of auto parts, tools, and accessories. Users can search for parts specific to their vehicle, order online for home delivery or pick up at a nearby store, and access helpful diagrams and repair tips.
RESEARCH: Conducted comprehensive user research to inform the redesign of an e-commerce platform, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and customer journey mapping. Identified key pain points in navigation, product discovery, and checkout flows, uncovering insights that directly informed UX strategy and design decisions.
PROBLEM STATEMENT: The current e-commerce site presents usability and navigation challenges that hinder product discovery and lead to low conversion rates. A redesign is needed to create a more intuitive, mobile-friendly, and streamlined shopping experience that meets user expectations and business goals.
MY ROLE: Drove UX design from initial research through final delivery. Applied a user-centered UX process-conducting research, defining user goals, ideating solutions, designing wireframes and prototypes, and testing with users to create intuitive, accessible, and effective digital experiences. Working closely with stakeholders and emphasized continuous iteration based on user feedback and cross-functional collaboration.
